OMG! Chocolate Bar is here!!

Now, I have been trying for years to figure out a way to create a chocolate candle that would compete with those synthetic ones out there in strength and uniqueness of scent.  Well, "Chocolate Bar", my brand new candle with Cocoa, Coconut and Mandarin is a hit!  I have been burning one on and off for a week now and just walking in the room when it burning is a treat to my nose and makes me smile. There is no bitterness in the scent like you will find with synthetic chocolate fragrances; just sweet and buttery chocolate with sweet Mandarin making it even yummier. I just listed the 8oz. candle in my Etsy shop today so check it out, tell your friends and stock up on them for the holidays.  It will be a crowd pleaser and comes guilt free!

Also, a reminder to sign up for my newsletter (click on the logo to the left) and watch for some great deals and coupons coming your way just in time to shop for holiday gifts.

Newsletter, Supporting Hand Made/Indie and Getting Ready for the Holidays

As we are all seeing, our economy is experiencing some challenges.  Probably not the worst we/this country has ever seen, but nonetheless, scary.  I really want to encourage all of you shoppers out there (and I am one of them) to shop Indie and hand made this year.  If you buy from and support the small business owner, history shows, the economy gets stronger and other areas of the market will benefit.  This is so important now and for the holidays.  So, put your hard-earned money to good use and buy from shops your find through places like Etsy or your local markets and craft shows.  You not only get to have one on one attention from the owner and creator of these goods, but you will more than likely get the best prices for that type of item.

So, I want to invite all my readers and customers to do a few things this coming month:

(1) Sign up for newsletters that these hand made shops publish because they almost always offer great discounts and previews of special sales and promotions. NOTE:  If you click on my newsletter link on the left you can sign up for mine and I will be sending out great, great coupon offers and fun promos in the next 2 weeks and throughout the holidays!

(2) Buy at least one handmade item (if you have never bought handmade before) for the holidays.  You will become addicted to it!

(3) Attend one of the many holiday bazaars or craft fairs happening at your neighborhood church, school or fair grounds.  These are a great way to find out what people in your area are creating and a wonderful way to shop for the holidays.  Many of these events have vendors that offer incredible discounts as an incentive to buy from them and get their products out there.  You can usually get a leg up on people who order online as you can touch, sample and smell the products first hand and have confidence in the product you buy.

(4) Check out Indie Blogs like IndieFixx, IndieCollective, IndieLove and WickedlyChic.  These Blogs know about Indie and frequently have reviews of sellers and items giving you an inside scoop on the newest wares and best sellers. You will also find that many of them offer Holiday Gift Guides that help you navigate the world of Indie and Hand made.  Check them out!

So, get out there and shop and don't forget to sign up for my newsletter too to get great coupons and special offers.  Just click on the button to the left!

Happy Shopping!

More reasons to love Etsy!

So, a few months ago I was browsing Etsy (as I do pretty much every day of my life it seems) and came across this AMAZING shop selling some of the most gorgeous bags I have seen in a while.  Her shop is called TamamiKoBag.etsy.com and she is based in Toronto. I am IN LOVE with her shop! History has shown that I am not good at picking out bags of any sort for myself, but as I have found shops on Etsy that sell them, I am becoming more and more obsessed and getting that talent down!  Anyway, this shop takes vintage fabric and turns it into pieces that I don't come across in everyday shopping.  So, I gave in and finally bought this piece called "Lyric Pink":

All her bags are stunning and I will be back for more soon I know!  Check out her shop and feel free to post some comments or your favorite bag from her shop here!

Crème has arrived in time for Fall

Finally!  I am sorry for my absence lately.  I am a multi-tasking girl and have been working on a ton of different jobs lately.  So, now that I am back from the madness, I am finally ready to announce that I have listed my brand spankin' new GA Essence blend, called Crème. The name says it all: Creamy, decadent and a true Gourmand, this blend is one of my favorite now. I love the deep and rich scent you smell out of the bottle with the combination of the Veggie Musk, Cocoa and Butter. Then as you put it on your skin you notice the subtle citrus of the Blood Orange and the sweetness of the Jasmine. Crème is a great addition to your fragrance wardrobe and perfect for the Fall and Winter. Check out the samples available as well selling in my Etsy shop now!
